National Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

PINNACLE Senior Center is observing Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each year the PINNACLE takes time to pause and remember love ones who lost their life, to support those who are fighting for a cure and those who are conducting clinical research.  We wear PINK to show our support in the fight for a cure.  This month we are wearing PINK each Friday and we encourage you to join us.  Send us your picture and if you would like to share your survivor story for publication on our website, please contact us.  Your story could be just the inspiration for someone who is currently on his/her journey.

  • Do you have questions about breast cancer? Call The National Cancer Institute at 1-800-4-CANCER. Their team is available to help answer your cancer-related questions. They provide free, accurate, up-to-date, and reliable information.

Medicare “Open Enrollment”

CALENDER“Medicare Open Enrollment runs from Oct. 15 through Dec. 7, 2020, for coverage effective in 2021. Every year, individuals with Medicare are encouraged to review their Medicare plan to determine if it still meets their needs as their health situation changes. This year, amidst a global pandemic, it’s even more important for older adults to ensure their plan still provides the coverage they need at the best price.” (NCOA)

NCOA-National Council on Aging can assist you in your search for information regarding “Open Enrollment.”
