Special Programs place trained EMS personnel in environments where they typically did not function in the past.  Specialized training includes Bike-Medic, Tactical-Medic and Tox-Medic responses.

BIKE-MEDIC TEAM

 Places specialty-trained paramedics on bike teams to provide early advanced care/support to the sick or injured. Bike teams increase visibility and may improve response times.bike

TACTICAL-MEDIC TEAM

 

Places specialty-trained paramedics on tactical teams (SWAT) to provide early advanced care/support to team members, civilians, law- enforcement and suspects.

TOX-MEDIC PROGRAM

 Tox-Medic team members are paramedics specialty-trained in toxicology, physiology of chemical exposure, and implentation of antidote therapy.
