Duties of the County Clerk and Quick Links
Real Estate and Vital Records – Recording and filing of real estate and many other documents including Doing Business As (DBA). Local Registrar for births and deaths in Fort Bend County. Issue and record Marriage Licenses and Declaration of Informal Marriage. Search Records
Commissioners Court – Responsible for taking, filing, and preserving the minutes and supporting documents of the court meetings. Commissioners Court Online
Clerk of Court – The County Clerk is the first stop for all County Court at Law filings. All applicable cases are available for public viewing. Search Court Records
