CIVIL MATTERS
All Court 6’s civil cases are heard on Thursdays at 9:30 AM (via Zoom) with the exception of JP Appeals and Occupational Licenses (see below for more information). Default and Summary Judgments are heard by submission on Thursdays at 10:00 am.
Cases set for trial are scheduled for a mandatory pre-trial heard on Fridays at 10:00 am (via Zoom), and the trial will be heard on the Tuesday after pre-trial at 11:00 am (in person).
JP APPEALS
Associate Judge Lewis White hears Court 6’s JP Appeal hearings. Requests for hearings must be emailed to the court coordinator, Eralyn Fisher, at Eralyn.Fisher@fortbendcountytx.gov.
OCCUPATIONAL LICENSES
Associate Judge Lewis White hears Court 6’s Occupational License hearings on Fridays at 9:00 A.M. The deadline to schedule a hearing is 3:00 PM on the Wednesday preceding Friday's docket. No exceptions. Requests for hearings must be emailed to the court coordinator, Eralyn Fisher, at Eralyn.Fisher@fortbendcountytx.gov.
TO SCHEDULE AN ORAL HEARING
Download the Civil Oral Hearing Request Form below and email the Form to the Court Coordinator at Court6Civil@fortbendcountytx.gov. The Motion and Order must be filed before requesting a hearing date.

You will receive a confirmation email from the Court Coordinator with the hearing date and Zoom meeting details (link/Meeting ID) and the Court’s Zoom Instructions.
The scheduling party is responsible for noticing the other party/parties of the video conference hearing by regular mail and certified mail, return receipt requested. Additionally, the Notice of Hearing MUST be e-filed with the County Clerk’s Office.
- The Notice of Hearing MUST include the following:
- The hearing will be held by video conference and include the Zoom meeting details (link/Meeting ID) and the Court’s Zoom Instructions.
- The Certificate of Service must include the certified mail tracking number.

The scheduling party is responsible for noticing the other party/parties of the submission hearing by regular mail and certified mail, return receipt requested. Additionally, the Notice of Hearing MUST be e-filed with the County Clerk’s Office.
- The Court requires the scheduling party to provide 28 days notice, and the Notice of Hearing MUST include the following:
- The hearing will be held by submission.
- The Court’s physical address – 1422 Eugene Heimann Circle, Richmond, Tx 77469.
- The Certificate of Service must include the certified mail tracking number.

The scheduling party is responsible for noticing the other party/parties of the pre-trial/trial dates by regular mail and certified mail, return receipt requested. Additionally, the Notice of Pre-Trial/Trial MUST be e-filed with the County Clerk’s Office.
- The Court’s Uniform Scheduling Order MUST be included with the Notice of Pre-Trial/Trial, and the Notice of Pre-Trial/Trial MUST include the following:
- The pre-trial hearing will be held via Zoom and include the Zoom meeting details (link/Meeting ID) and the Court’s Zoom Instructions.
- The trial will be heard in person in County Court at Law No. 6 at 1422 Eugene Heimann Circle, Richmond, Tx 77469.
- The Certificate of Service must include the certified mail tracking number.
