Juvenile Matters
The County Courts at Law of Fort Bend County sit as the designated juvenile courts. Juvenile courts decide on matters involving adolescents who have not attained the age of majority. Matters handles by the juvenile courts include juvenile delinquency and issues involving adolescents in need of supervision. Juvenile court hearings take place inside the courtroom and are formal proceedings.
Docket Times
- Juvenile Disposition Dockets are heard on designated Mondays at 9:00 a.m.
- Juvenile Status Dockets are heard on designated Mondays at 9:00 a.m.
- Juvenile Bench or Jury Trial Dockets are held on designated Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m.
- Emergency Hearing Dockets are heard at the most earliest convenience of all parties.

Detention Hearings
Unless prior permission has been obtained, detention hearings are heard by Associate Judge Lewis White at the Legion Drive Annex, 117 Legion, Richmond, Texas 77469 on Mondays at 1:30 p.m., Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m., and Thursdays at 9:00 a.m.
