Family Violence is a crime which can victimize any person regardless of race, gender, or background. Lieutenant Heinemeyer is the supervisor for the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office Family Violence Unit. This unit is tasked with investigations of family assaultive offenses and runaways. The family violence unit works diligently to curb the problem of domestic violence by investigating and preparing cases against persons responsible for domestic assaults.
