(Drop-off locations: Richmond, Sugar Land, Missouri City, and Katy)

Dealer and Title Services can now schedule appointments online or drop off to the specified locations for each Fort Bend County Tax Office. Follow the guidelines below:

Online Appointment Instructions:

• Appointments CANNOT be back to back
• Only two (2) appointments allowed per day (2 appointments per location is NOT allowed) Example: Tuesday, July 5, 2022 (2) appointments at Richmond location OR (1) appointment at Needville location and (1) at Richmond location is allowed, totals to 2 appointments daily
• If you are late for your scheduled appointment time, additional time will not be added to your appointment window. Example: If your appointment is from 8 am to 8:45 am and you arrive 15 minutes late, you will be serviced from 8:15 am to 8:45 am.
• From 11:00-1:00 dealers can pull a ticket and process one (1) transaction at a time. No dealer tickets can be pulled before 11:00am. No Walk-ins
• No dealer/title services will be processed on Fridays.
• Three (3) missed appointments will result in 30 day suspension of appointment access 
• Drop-offs are not allowed on the same day of a scheduled appointment 

Drop-off Instructions: 

• Drop-off locations: Richmond, Sugar Land, Missouri City, and Katy 
• Drop-off time: Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 11:00 am / Station 1
• Pick up time: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 11:00 am / Station 1
• One (1) drop off location per day
• Seven (7) transactions available for next day pick up (if more than 7 packages are dropped off we guarantee a minimum of 7 transactions completed per day)
• Drop-offs are not allowed on the same day of a scheduled appointment 
• Packages must include the following:
  • Documents must be in an envelope with the name of the dealer/title service written on the outside
  • Original Insurance Card
  • Utility Bill in transferee name (for valid proof of residence)
  • Cashier’s Check or Money Order with the correct fee amount and made out to “Carmen P. Turner - FBC County Tax Office”
     

Richmond Tax Office will process dealer/title service appointments from 8:00am to 11:00am and 2:00-4:00. You can schedule your appointment for Clerk 1 or Clerk 2, however you may not do back to back appointment windows or schedule two appointments in the same time slot. During the morning time slots, each clerk will process a minimum of four (4) transactions as many transactions within 45 minutes without going over the allotted time. During the afternoon time slots, each clerk will process a minimum of three (3) transactions within 30 minutes without going over the allotted time. Drop off Location 

Needville Tax Office will process dealer/title services appointments from 10:00-11:00 and 2:30-3:30, the clerk will process a minimum of three (3) transactions within 30 minutes time slot without going over the allotted time. 

Sugar Land, Katy, and Missouri City Tax Offices will process dealer/title service appointments from 8:00am to 11:00am and 2:00-4:00. During the morning and afternoon time slots, the clerk will process a minimum of three (3) transactions within 30 minutes without going over the allotted time. Drop off Locations  

Sienna Tax Office will process dealer/title service appointments from 2:00pm-4:00pm only. During the morning time slots, the clerk will process a minimum of three (3) transactions within 30 minutes without going over the allotted time.
