Computer and Technology Section

The Technical Services section is responsible for various aspects of computer use within the agency through mobile technology. From the recommendation of purchase and installation of desktop hardware/software to the concept, development, implementation and maintenance of various specialized systems (DIMS Evidence Management System, L3 Video System, Server Operations) and the Tritech Computer Aided Dispatch and Records Management System that is hosted to many of the Fort Bend County Public Safety Agencies. They are also responsible for managing and maintaining the P25 Trunked Radio System for the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office and the following hosted Agencies; Fort Bend County Constables Offices, several municipalities within Fort Bend County, 13 Fire Depts., OEM, Justice Center, Muds districts, power plant, Game Warden, Health and Human servers, Road and Bridge, Environmental Police, Fire Marshal’s Office, and Levee districts.
