Employee Badge Information
ID and Security Access badges are issued by Sheriff's Office Bailiffs.

New Employees
Department coordinators will submit a Badge Request Form to CardAccessSystem@fortbendcountytx.gov on or before the Monday morning that new employees are hired. Badges for forms turned in Monday before 12:00 PM will be ready between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM on Monday afternoon. Badges for forms turned in after Monday at 12:00 PM will not be ready until Friday between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM. Department coordinators must fill out the Badge Request Form completely and turn it in before a badge will be made. Employees must bring a photo ID to pick up their badge at the designated times. Department coordinators and department heads may also pick up badges for their employees.
Broken/Damaged Badges
There is no charge to replace a broken or damaged badge. There is no charge for a broken/damaged badge. Please contact your department coordinator to complete the Badge Request Form. You may be required to turn in your damaged badge.
Lost Badges
There is a $15.00 fee to replace a lost badge. Contact your department coordinator to complete the Badge Request Form. Once the form has all the appropriate signatures, you or your coordinator will take the form and the $15.00 to the County Treasurer's Office to make payment. The payment receipt and the completed form will be sent to the Sheriff's Office Bailiffs at the Justice Center to request your new badge. The bailiffs will inform the employee when his or her new badge is ready.
Employees must bring a photo ID to pick up their badge. Department coordinators and department heads may also pick up badges for their employees.

Remember, always keep your badge safe and secure and if ever leaving employment, you will required to turn in your badge.
