Accredited by the Texas Department of State Health Services Texas AgriLife Extension Service Food Manager Certification Program will teach managers about:
- Food Safety & Sanitation (Foodborne illnesses/outbreaks, Types of contamination, Food safety hazards, Identifying foodborne illnesses, & Personal hygiene)
- Food Flow & HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point, Purchasing & receiving food safely, and Keeping food safe during preparation)
- Managing the Operation (Sanitary facilities, Pest management, & Sanitation regulations).
The 2-day course (16-hours) will consist of the “Food Safety: It’s Our Business” curriculum and will conclude with an ANSI-CFP Accredited Certified Professional Food Manager examination (CPFM) – SERVSAFE. Completed registration forms along with the $125 registration fee must be submitted prior to course dates. The next training is scheduled for March 17 & 18, 2015.
